Over the past decade we have seen digital marketing go from banner ads and blue links on a desktop computer screen to the most immersive experiences you can imagine. Car shoppers can now use augmented reality on their phone to visualize what a new car will look like in their driveway, garage, or even their living room. (Ok maybe that last one is just me) More vehicle test drives happen on YouTube every day than in real life. We really are living in the future.

As a retailer you have almost unlimited ways to reach and connect with potential customers, and yet so many retailers feel overwhelmed by their marketing options. Especially in the automotive space, we see a cookie-cutter approach to marketing. Bare minimum, co-op funded “Insert dealer name here” style advertising has driven many dealerships to search for an alternative, which is why I founded Formatic.
